Call for Papers

The Department of Banking and Finance at the University of Innsbruck, and the Society for Experimental Finance (SEF)  invite you to the Experimental Finance Conference 2021. The conference also serves as the 11th annual meeting of the SEF.

We invite you to submit full papers or extended abstracts (with a minimum of 1,000 words) using experimental methods covering all areas of finance, broadly defined (please only submit if you have already collected data). Submissions will be peer-reviewed by two anonymous referees. Presentations will be given either in plenary sessions or parallel sessions.

Conference Registration

Formal registration for participation will open once we are closer to the event.

If you would like to attend (even without presenting a paper), we encourage you to register an account with our conference organization tool at https://conftool.org/ef2021/. This allows us to keep you up to date and contact you directly once registration opens.

 

Fees

Irrespective of whether the conference will be held exclusively online, as an in-person event, or in a hybrid format, we charge the following fees for attendance:

Regular conference fee: 70€
Reduced conference fee for PhD Students: 50€

If we are able to hold an in-person event and you want to travel to Innsbruck and partake in-person, there will be a surcharge of 200€ to cover the additional expenses of the event.

The registration fees are due upon formal registration for the event.
